Ukraine: what charities do
After two months, the violence and atrocities in Ukraine are unfortunately still going on. Many of our charity partners are doing whatever they can to help the victims.
Farmers, new climate heroes
Solidaridad and partners are awarded 12.7 million euro from this year's Dream Fund of Nationale Postcode Loterij (Dutch Postcode Lottery), for a five-year programme that fights climate change and poverty.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery are supporting a project designed to fight the isolation and loneliness. The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery was awarded £880,000 in funding.
No more dirty denim
Dutch company MUD Jeans produces jeans from recycled denim, with an option to loan the jeans instead of buying them. DOEN Participaties investment fund invested in this sustainable, innovative company.
Good luck, after the flood
In July 2021, the German municipality Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler was hit by a flood. Exactly six months on, the Monthly Prize from the Deutsche Postcode Lotterie happens to be drawn to community.
With its Postcode Lotteries in five European countries, more and more Novamedia colleagues are working on international projects and assignments abroad.
Making Europe wild again
Rewilding Europe celebrates its 10th anniversary. The environmental organisation is bringing back wilder nature, partly thanks to the Postcode Lotteries.
Sing to bridge cultures
The refugee choir The Rockin’ Pots from Sweden is a success story. Singing turned out to be the happiest way to learn the language and integrate.

The most sustainably building
Since November 2018, Novamedia and the Charity Lotteries have been working in the most sustainably “renovated” building in Amsterdam.
The Congolese doctor Denis Mukwege (65) has been an international ambassador of the Postcode Lotteries since 2019.

With players’ support, Volunteering Matters is helping older people in Great Britain to stay connected during the pandemic.
Extra donation for Red Cross
The coronavirus is affecting the livelihoods of vulnerable people. The Netherlands Red Cross received €4 million.
